Trend Micro InterScan Messaging Security Suite 5.x has been tested compatible with Cisco PIX Firewalls 4x, 5x and 6x to provide enterprises with a comprehensive content security solution.

IMSS installs at the gateway to provide real time antivirus protection and defend against spam, junk e-mail, and chain mail. It is an interoperable solution of Cisco's Technology Developer Partner Security and VPN program empowering the Self-Defending Network Strategy to provide the foundation for secure, resilient and scalable networks.

Trend Micro InterScan Web Security Suite 2.x operates behind Cisco firewalls and routers and tested compatible with Cisco Content Engine to provide enterprises high-performance security for HTTP and FTP traffic at the Internet gateway. The suite integrates antivirus, anti-phishing, anti-spyware, and optional URL filtering technology. This comprehensive solution is designed to scan Web content and block malicious threats—without sacrificing Web performance. It is also highly flexible and scalable, even on large, complex networks. With a centralized management console, IT managers can deploy a rapid, coordinated defense against emerging threats.

InterScan Web Security Suite can either be deployed in stand-alone mode, or ICAP (Internet Content Adaptation Protocol) mode with the Cisco Content Engine. IWSS will ensure cached http data is clean and free of viruses and worms.

Trend Micro OfficeScan has been tested compatible with Cisco’s Secure Access Control Server (ACS), Cisco 18xx Series Routers, Cisco 38xx Series Routers and Cisco 28xx Series Routers.
