Worry Free Remote Manager System Maintenance

We’re excited to continue investing in you, our channel partners and upgrade Worry-Free Remote Manager to support both InterScan Messaging Hosted Security and the latest version of Worry-Free Business Security 6.0, planned availability
8th June 2009.

Only Trend Micro offers this type of console which allows you to manage multiple customers running both hosted and endpoint security products. It is continued to be offered at no cost.

During the upgrade process there will be a system maintenance period when the console is inaccessible for partners from Europe, Middle East, and Africa:

Saturday May 30 (midnight), 00:00 to Sunday May 31, 23:59 (GMT+1 Paris, Berlin).

Key new features include:

  • Support and monitoring of Worry-Free Business Security 6.0 including the ability to monitor status for URL filtering and virus scan type.
  • Display at-a-glance, real-time feature status for each customer.
  • Integrated agent installation with Worry-Free Business Security 6.0.
  • Support for InterScan Messaging Hosted Security (IMHS) including ability to monitor IMHS customer status, generate IMHS information in reports, and single sign-on for IMHS customer consoles.
  • Reporting updates including two types of reports (General and Detailed) now available and the ability to store reports on Worry-Free Remote Manager
  • A completely revised and enhanced user interface.
  • Enhanced process to add products/services.
 

Other previous enhancements we’ve made to our Worry-Free Remote Manager datacenters to increase performance include:

  • Ability to support over 12 times number of customers
  • Improved network load balancing and clustering
  • Significantly upgraded hardware and optimized database
